Joints ache?
by: Anonymous

Are you consuming sucralose? Check the ingredients on your flavored containers of protein. You can buy the ones sweetened with stevia instead. Check out the studies on Splenda and sucralose...which Splenda is made from. I am a martial artist who cut sucralose cold turkey and all aches dissapeared within 2 weeks.Read Everything before purchase!!

To the joints ache guy...
Get a consultation from a dietician
Proteins are made from amino acids. But these cannot be stored. XS amino acids are deaminated, and the final product is urea or uric acid and carbohydrates. Uric acid is acidic and soluble. The body compensates by releasing calcium (from bones) into bloodstream leading to porous bones (heard of osteoporosis) and joint pain. You have to use protein to build tissue if you dont want this problem. Another direct consequence is kideny stones (due to calcium released) and (if you down use enough enery) weight gain from the carbs formed (though this is less of a problem than guzzling fat).
