Exercise First Thing in the Morning

Before breakfast, go do some cardio in the morning.

What this does:

- Burns body fat since you haven't had any food yet.

- Gets your body warmed up.

- Increases metabolism early.

I usually run 7 mph for 2:30 minutes once when I get up, and again after I eat breakfast.
But go at your own pace, just make sure you give yourself a nice work out.

I do some weight lifting too, to not lose muscle while losing weight.

Sure, run before breakfast...but only if you want to lose muscle mass too. You will burn fat, but also muscle due to having low sugar levels...glycemic index etc. I recommend you eat 30 mins before exercising in the morning so your body is less inclined to burn muscle as fuel.
