What if you workout for 5 days straight for an average of 3 hrs. each day. What effects does it have on you?

I workout at a fitness place, and i wanted to know if there are any affects on ur body if you work out for more than three days a week?

It depends on which muscles your working out each day. if your working out seperate muscles each day then thats a good workout. although if you do a full workout everyday, your not giving your body enough time to recover to build muscle.

If your unemployed and you work out 5 days straight for approx 3 hrs it shouldn't do you any harm at all. It would be just like a days work if you do not hit it to hard.

I work in the heavy steel industry 9 hrs a day with just a total of 1 hr 20 min break then work out for 2 hrs on my home gym when i arrived home 5 days a week but I always have the weekends totally free from work and exercise see you need to rest the body or it will burn out on you and to your question it shouldn't do you harm if you eat well and drink plenty of liquid and totally rest weekends which means doing nothing at all never done me any harm for the past 9 yrs all I ever notice I sleep like a log and wouldn't even notice if the world was ending whilst asleep.

We have a saying here in the UK steel and coal industry (strong in the arm and thick in the head theres always a place to rest when we are dead).
