Losing all over fat (belly, upper legs, butt and arms) while breastfeeding

I am 32 years old, 5'4" and have a 6 month old who is breastfeeding. I am kickboxing with 1/2 hr cardio + (pushups, situps, leg lifting things for lower abdomen, etc) and I am starting to use my treadmill at home in between kb days. I also have an all-in-one nautalis, but haven't started on it yet.

My thing is that I don't know how many calories I should be eating and burning to get back to my pre pregnant weight. Right now I am 133 and my normal weight is between 115-120.

If you could help me work this out, it would be fantastic because I want to be healthy for my kids (and myself)

Thank you in advance!

How many calories...
by: The Middle Manager

This is a good question... we have a few articles on calculating how many calories you need to burn fat; however, none of them adress breastfeeding specifically.

Typically, women burn an additional 350 to 500 calories per day when breastfeeding, so you will need to take that into account when using any of the methods described in the articles below.

Do this by taking your baseline calorie calculation, and subtracting 350 calories from it.

Check out these articles, and let us know if you have any other questions, we will be glad to help as much as possible!
