Go to a site that will calculate your BMR. Then like the other person said add that number to the calories you believe you burn then subtract how many calories you consume. If your BMR+calories burned is greater then your calories consumed then you will lose weight. If its more you will gain weight.

you burn an avg of 1700 just to keep your body alive, so if you burn an extra 1200 than that is 2900 calories a day you're burning! thats alot. just calculate how many calories your eating a day and subtract that from 2900 and that will be how many calories you're burning a day. keep in mind that a pound of fat has 3500 calories
