Can Cutting Calories Too Much Have Revese Affects and Not Lose Lbs?

by David
(Dallas, TX)

I have not seen this information anywhere but I am a 43 year old Male, 5-11''/230 lbs. trying to lose about 2 lbs a week. I just started 2 weeks a go exercising 4-5 days a week and keeping calories around 1,500 - 1,800 a day. I am concerned I am not eating enough calories and I may be starving my body which will cause it to store fat. Am I OK or should I increase my calories?

Don't listen to that guy

The guy above with his 500 cal. Hell has no idea what he is talking about. I was 300 lbs at one point and within a year I dropped over 137 lbs. I started doing it his way (the wrong way) and yeah I lost a good bit of weight, however it will catch up with you. Your body is not meant to drop weight like that. Not only will you end up with flabby skin, weak, and sick, but chances are that you are going to gain the weight back if not more. I will let you in on a little secret?? don?t waste your money on expensive machines, diet pills and powders. The only thing you need to do to lose weight is to slightly limit your caloric intake and do cardio. Cardio is the key. The trick is to start out slow and just keep challenging yourself. If you don?t like cardio like most people don?t do it anyway. If you are not ready to put in the work, you?re not ready to lose weight. Sorry to break the news to you.
